Old Mojacar is a wonderful white painted town on top of a hill. Completely different from New Mojacar on the beach. There are several parking lots around town. But one (just across the street) holds only few cars and the other one is unpaved (with lots of pointy little rocks). So this parking lot is the best choice. And it's free. It's at a public swimming pool, so it might get crowded. But on the sunday we went it was empty. Only when there's the monthly market, then parking is not allowed. It's a short walk from town, and pretty close to the elevator which brings you to the town top (for stroller, wheelchairs etc.). A good choice, felt safe leaving my car there. Only negative point: Full sun - no shade.
