Customer service is zero. Their Kavuni arisi ( wild black rice) is of very poor quality probably something that has been stocked for years and they are selling it now. If confronted, the lady ( assuming the owner) is spewing false information as to they haven’t been stocking any Kavuni arisi since 3 months! Wonder if anyone else ( of geographical background) can come up with such lies in a span of few seconds!

Madurai foods is really a go to place for things authentically Indian and specifically south Indian. At a time of Covid when traveling to places is so difficult, they brought a slice of home back with their authentic rice, millets, lentils and cold pressed oils, all at very reasonable prices. I hope they will be able to continue their services and provide more of these authentic groceries and even more groceries that have been a hard find in USA over the years.

This store is amazing!!! I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service and all the products they carry. All the workers were very friendly and super helpful with any questions I had. The store is organized and clean. They have a great deli selection where I was offered samples of their products. They also have fresh veal every weekend which is hard to find.

Madurai foods has the best Authentic Rice in USA. The varieties of rice available is really amazing. Rice is packed well. I am happy that this store carries Mappillai samba and Kattuyanam rice. The customer service is great. Kumar
