Used to be my favourite spot in Alphen. And still: best food in town and great personal service. Really! But after a full evening of good food, spending on a 3 course meal, drinks and bottles... a shot on the house was to much to ask for. What started as fun when paying the bill turned out to be the partybreaker of the evening. No kudos for the management, sorry to say. Think we need to focus different for an evening of fun

Cozy place, right on the canal. Great beer selection on tap, also special unfiltered micro brews. Chese cake is weird, mixed with orange, I guess an acquired taste. Fast friendly service, but no english menu, the staff are happy to translate though, they speak excellent English.
Always excellent service food. Quality meats A. One problem -- they need to offer some meal salads (maaltijd salade) !!!
The food is very tasty and good quality but the service is very slow.
Have been there twice. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff offering good service. The food itself is mouthwatering good, speaking about an excellent steak and cheese fondue.
