Great service! These guys know what they’re doing. After 3 other tow companies left me stranded, Gordys came thru and saved the day, twice! Tom was the driver and he is a true professional!
This garage works closely with Alta Dena Sherrif, I've been towed here a few times. Over night parking, and 72 hour-limit street parking, in Pasadena, Alta Dena, and unincorporated LA, might land you here at Gordy's. The owner and employees at Gordy's are extremely nice, knowledgeable and helpful. This garage offers towing services, and auto repair. I recommend getting auto assistance here if you are in the neighborhood.
My disabled vintage Mercedes was stranded in my narrow driveway and I needed to have it turned around and tucked away in my garage so that I could work on it out of the weather. At my (mistaken) request, Gordy's brought a flatbed that proved to be too big for the driveway, so they returned with a smaller wrecker that was more suited for the job. I was really impressed by the skill and patience it took for this complicated maneuver. The service was quick, very reasonably priced, and completed without a bump or a scratch. I could not be more pleased!
My alternator went out on my Kia while driving down Melrose one Friday evening at like 6:30. I called AAA and did a quick search on google for auto shops in the area. Gordy's Garage was right down the street and had excellent reviews. I think they closed at 6 or 6:30, but the woman on the phone said I could have the car towed there and they'd stay open for me. I didn't get there until 7:15 and they were true to their word. The work was done the next day and I wasn't overcharged for the labor either. They were communicative and didn't waste my time. Recommended.
