Trail from inspiration point to Echo mountain via castle canyon is VERY NARROW and a bit sketchy. (About 2miles) Better to go during day time and be away of fallen trees. A bit slippery too. Inspiration point is solid with fascinating with local history. (You might miss the signs if you take short cuts)

Haven’t been there for long time. The happiest thing is to see some snow. It’s my first time to see snow here. Here is a pavilion with some great view if the air is clear. You can see more by summit the peak nearby. It’s very close.

5 miles to reach here from Cobb. Dont be that person blasting music from a speaker at the top. Its serene and quiet. Bring trekking poles to traverse the icy parts on Castle Canyon trail and Middle Sam Merril in the winter.
