It's located close to Alton train station, roughly 150 metres away (one minute walking). A big store where you can find anything you need. There is also a cash machine outside of the store which means you can get cash before start shopping. Moreover, there are taxi services (Wilson Taxis) on the opposite side of Waitrose so you could get a taxi and transfer your shopping easily back home.

Love waitrose,great selection of quality produce and all the staff at Alton are friendly and helpful. However if you come across a waitrose partner called Ken/Kenneth Gowans then please don't fall for his charm. You can find him on 1....meat & fish...where he vapes in the chiller room...illegally!!! 2....Out front doing the flowers or car park duties....where again he vapes or smokes whilst at work!!! 3....In the cafe...poor cafe staff. 4....On the tills giving honest folk his tales of Woe,which are all fabricated. DO NOT TRUST HIM.....he has no morals.
Not great Customer Service on the C.S. desk as returning fruit had gone off before I had chance to eat within the date , I took product and receipt but was told that she couldn't refund fresh produce, what I said never heard of this anywhere before , I got quite annoyed and told her that i have never had a problem returning fresh items first and i was ready to ask for Manager if this was declined but she obviously didnt know what she was doing and went and asked her colleagues, but then why put someone who doesn't have a clue on a Customer Service desk ? If she's training then she needs to be along a colleague that knows her stuff. I know my rights ,and I felt she was not friendly or pleasant and treated me like I was not fit to be in the store, not impressed Waitrose are you going down hill ? Not the way to treat Customers at all, and you mention showing kindness in your Christmas TV advert !! I certainly didnt see it .
