I seen this shop pop up in the good food guide and could not wait to try. Service was a little slow but now I know exactly why - I had the Matteo's Original and it was the tastiest thing I have had in a long time. Freshly sliced Mortadella and a Chinotto to serve. Mr Matteo you have taken my heart.

This new deli in Altona is my new go to for coffee! I have tried the cold cuts, sps and matteos original rolls and they taste so good, highly recommend anyone in the area to try! The staff there are kind and friendly and overall it was a great experience at the deli. Oh and make sure you get a pastizzi when you visit
Excellent coffee and the cannoli is a winner! They use industry coffee beans! :)
In the short time Matteo's had been open, we've hadba couple of paninis and theyre fantastic.
