We first approached John after the first lockdown in Summer 2020, wanting our daughter to build on her progress in Year 2. After 6 months we are very pleased with the progress she has made, but what makes us particularly sure that we made the right choice is the way our daughter connects with John’s teaching methods. Even with the recent lockdown when face to face lessons have been stopped, zoom lessons (which my wife and I didn’t think would be as effective for a 7 year old) have been one of the highlights of her week. Although we have local tutors in our immediate area, we feel sure that we will continue to make the 12 mile round trip to John each week because of the educational capital he adds to our daughters’ future. Our 5 year old is on the waiting list to start in Sept 2022. I’ve just asked my 7 year old what she thinks of John “..he’s brilliant, really helpful and the lesson gives me an extra brain boost!”.

My 7 year old daughter has been attending one to one tutorials with John for a couple of months. Initially she had found maths difficult so decided private tuition may help improve her confidence and knowledge in this subject. Since attending Johns tutorials her confidence has significantly grown, and in my daughters words she said “John explains things better than my teachers and it all makes sense”. John and Michelle are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met, they’re both very welcoming, professional and provide an excellent service. I cannot recommend John Cashin Tutorial enough, thank you both for the amazing work that you do! ️

I highly recommend John Cashin as a tutor, my daughter had tuition with John to help her pass her Grammar entrance exam and came on leaps and bounds as a result of his excellent tuition. She actually looked forward to each lesson and never found it to be chore. During lockdown there was no lapse in tuition as John continued with lessons via video and when they were allowed back in the classroom John and Michelle came up with innovative ideas to keep the children safe whilst having their lesson. I would give John Cashin 50 stars if I could!

John Cashin tuition have a very discriminatory approach and refused to tutor my daughter for entrance exams on the basis of her having mild dyslexia and APD, without troubling themselves to have a discussion with me about how either condition manifests.

John has been a great Tutor and has helped my son pass the Grammar school exams. My son always commented how he enjoyed John's enthusiastic teaching and very clearly explained some of the concepts in the lessons. He was so pleased with Johns approach that he wanted to continue attending the class even after the exams !! Michelle was extremely nice and friendly ; always encouraging my son. I would highly recommend John and Michelle . A very positive and helpful tuition.
