I bought some kitchen appliances and at that moment I did not have a tax number, yet. When i obtained it, I kindly asked them to add my tax no to the invoice but they refused it even though they are legally obliged to. I would not ever prefer this place for any type of purchase.

Conforama has a lot of stuff for your home, from beds, closets, bathroom, a lot of decoration options, and they offer an shipping&assembly service as well (tough is a bit expensive, compared to Ikea for instance). Staff is almost always friendly, and the quality of their furniture is alright! One of the best things to do is head there in the sales days, which the prices drop quite considerably!

Well what is there to say. Most of what they sell looks absolutely awful but once in a while you find a gem and it's usually very decently priced. Deliveries are a hassle and staff is friendly but not always competent.
