How can you not go to Costco especially for American food near impossible to find in Japanese store. Such as Sour cream, microwave popcorn, rostierre chicken, bagels, muffin's etc.

All of these items were what I was looking for in Costco yesterday. I couldn’t find them. One thing that really makes it hard to shop is that most have ingredients and labels in Japanese. I hope they add English too to help health-conscious and picky shoppers like I am.
What can you say about costco. As a business owner it’s pretty frustrating as you pay this high membership fee. Then you show up and items that were on the shelf are either sold out or discontinued. The meat and oil prices are what you get at any other stores or suppliers. Only certain items like cheese, quinoa etc are worth going for. The most disappointing part is when you call in advance to check stocks they don’t give you a direct answer they say they can’t revel it and it’s a top secret if they have it or not. State secrets
My favorite place to shop in Japan. I love every thing there specifically the rosted chiken
Big and has many things, but it can be hard to find what you are looking for and what they have varies pretty often. Also way too crowded on many days. Especially weekends or day after a weekend. Also really do not like how they force you to be a member, and they check your card as you go in every time and they double check and \sign\ your recite as you leave the store. That they do it all the time and so haphazardly just feels annoying and it doesn't feel like they will catch people stealing. Which I assume it's for? Either way. It's way too cumbersome to shop here imo. But it's sadly the only place for some stuff.
