The Amasra Museum overlooking Küçük Liman, contains a standard collection of Roman Byzantine and Hellenistic odds and ends, Including some impressive statues from the 2nd Century.
After a longterm renovations-restoration issues for the museum building and reinstalling the permanent display as well the museum now nominee for superb historical places of the Black Sea region.
Great place! Nice artifacts from the late BCE and early CE time periods
Recommended or not i don't know The building in the city also showing the historical things
Small, but good, well organized basic info
Rather small collection of ancient, Roman, old Greek and Ottoman artefacts, found in and around the town, is displayed in only a few rooms. Interesting examples of Roman statues, coins, pottery, etc.
