Came here for a massage after a long week at work and this was perhaps the best massage I've ever had. Jenny is phenomenal and really knows what she is doing professionally. She was able to identify the areas where I had knots and back pain without me even telling her! I left feeling refreshed and a lot of pain lifted off my body. I am planning to come back regularly after this experience.
Recommendation from my sister whilr I was visiting NY. Professional. Overall great massage. Masseuse explained what she was doing and why, - telling me about knots, etc. Felt relaxed after and legs felt brand new after walking all day.
I had been to this place before and it wasn’t the best but I decided to give them another try (I thought I might have just gotten a bad masseuse). My friend and I went yesterday and they took us to the room with the massage places. This room is sectioned off with curtains to create around 5 “rooms” for individual massages. Since there are no walls, you can hear everyone else around you. There was a massage table with a small towel to cover yourself while you wait for your masseuse. They asked whether I wanted soft, medium, or hard massage and I opted for the medium. Despite the medium request, it was very hard. My masseuse kept rubbing my arm thinking my muscle was a knot. He presses so hard that I got bruises on my body (photo attached). The masseuse focused on my arms and back and didn’t even massage my legs (note we requested for a full body massage). In between the massage, the masseuse’s phone rang and the masseuse stepped out for 2 minutes to answer the phone. He didn’t compensate for the time missed by massaging extra. After 45 minutes of this, they asked if I wanted to extend to 60 minutes. I wasn’t impressed and I declined. My friend’s masseuse wasn’t very good either and did not have enough pressure despite him asking for a deep tissue massage and asking his masseuse to press more. After our massages were over we payed and tipped them 15% even when we didn’t have a good experience. They asked us outright if we can give them more and when we refused, they made a scene about it. Please avoid this place and go to another place where you aren’t forced to tip for bad service and where you don’t leave the place with bruises on your body.
Great massage each time I visited. Highly recommended!
