The lady I spoke to today couldn't have been more helpful and has to be one of the most pleasant people I have spoken to on the telephone for a while!
They don't care about local safety of children, emergency vehicle access to residence and estates. Don't care about people's objections even when overwhelming. Just give planning to anything that lines there pockets because there an irresponsible council and strapped for cash. Lost my vote
I have just rung Amber Valley Council to amend my banking details for my Direct Debit to pay my council tax. I was put through to the correct department straight away and was met with a very cheerful and polite young lady who quickly did as requested in a matter of seconds. I have also had to do this to another two companies both of which took forever in fact my internet provider took 20 minutes. Well done Amber Valley for being so efficient.
Am not sure who I just spoke to on the phone this morning of 25th May regarding a bin replacement but they need to seriously reconsider how they speak to people. We pay our council tax and make a simple request to be spoken to in a snappy, rude and condescending manner? Very disappointed.
