Absolutely must see for all vintage car fans! Very rare models and prototypes on display, nicely arranged and supplemented with large and functional model railway! Interesting for both adults and kids, although no playground available.

In comparison with many other, this museum not only shows old-timers (which are, by the way, in a perfect condition) but also tells the story of the automotive history. Surprisingly, there are also models of trains in the basement. And they're as good as cars.

If you're interested in the history of the motor car, no matter what brand, this is for you: Ernst Freiberger's EFA Museum of German Automobile History in Amerang in Upper Bavaria. It invites you on a chronological journey of discovery through automotive engineering. More than 220 cars are displayed in an exhibition area of 6000 square meters and presented in a contemporary setting.

Excellent German auto collection spoiled by poor customer relations from a xenophobic cashier.

I loved this museum! We didn't really know it existed and kind of stumbled across it, but I'm so glad we did :) the range of vehicles there was really impressive, and I particularly enjoyed the displays on the walls that showed how the mechanics of the cars worked!

Very interesting and nicely set up, but extremely overpriced for the amount of material

Quite a surprise, more cars than expected. Would visit again if time allows. Model railroad is amazing as well. About 71km SE of Munich Airport, worth the drive car lovers.
