Capt. Harlan know his stuff, been going out with him for years. He listens to our needs and desires, researches the best options, then accommodates with great success. My kids had a blast. Safety is always priority one, but great memories is the outcome. For a great day on the water, and for a very fair price, check out American Allegiance. My advice, book ahead as he does fill up!

Im a charter captain on Lake Michigan and so I have a little different viewpoint then most. I have a good idea if the Captain is just trying to put a few fish in the boat to keep me happy or if they are actually really trying to do whatever they can to make the trip a success. I was very happy using Capt. Harlan. He was very informative and was also great with my kids. I have hired him twice now to come on my boat to show me the ropes of the area, what was biting, and how to fish at that time on the first day I was down. Rather then spending a number of days figuring it out I would rather pay for the local knowledge on day 1 and be on fish all week long.
