One of my favourite place in the whole world! The mission of the refuge is so great, what they do everyday to take care of these animals is amazing! I’m so proud to be from Amos, and to be able to talk about the Refuge to people around me! Every visit is different, and we can lean so much about wildlife thanks to the amazing staff! I grew up going there often, and now every time I go back to Amos to see my family and friends, I make sure to stop there for a visit! I sometimes wish Japan was closer so I could visit the Refuge more often ️

Wonderful! One of the highlights of our trip- well worth a detour even if you aren’t already in Amos. We were floored by the number and variety of animals, and surprised that we got to see most of them, even on a cold and rainy day. Would come back anytime!

Loved it :) The only thing was, I don't think it is a good time of the year to go because a lot of the animals we're released in the spring. Lots of empty cages.
