We were two girls on a budget roadtrip with a tent, we called in advanced and the man (I think he was the owner) was rude on the phone, when I asked for prices he said (in an annoyed tone) check on the website and hung up before I had a chance to say anything. I was lucky that I had free roaming incl on my phone, otherwise going online is very pricey, that's why people call, I reckon? His poor behavior made no sense to us whatsoever. Anywas, the tent place were nice, close to the water and lots of birds and cute rabbits, so the place was nice, but I was a bit disappointed with the staff. Costumer services wasn't their strong suit! and their prices online was a bit misguiding. A lot of weird small extra costs such as 3 theft insurance when you rent a bike (a 50 deposit, which is fine, but not stated on their website), but the bike were fine, though no gears. The trip to Amsterdam was supposed to be 6-7km and around 20 min, but in reality it was around 14km and took us 40-60 min and we're from Denmark and used to bikes. So there was a lot of misinformation that we could live with, but was a bit annoying and unneccessary. Oh, and remember toilet paper and soap to the toilets. The toilets were fine and clean though, so props for that! To sum up, idyllic nice place, with a bit rude staff and some annoying misinformation, but nothing we can't handle.

Stayed in the waterlodges and really enjoyed it, they are right on the lake and made a perfect spot. The campsite shop was closed so shop before you as there was nothing at all. Owner seemed pleasant, was really worried with the other reviews, but it was absolutely fine. Not much to do for children at all, no park or anything to speak of but the forest is right next door to explore. Overall I really enjoyed it here, just make sure to clean up at night if eating outside or the local wildlife will be all over it

Wonderful place for camping. Not too far to the Amsterdam central if you have a car. It's very silent and pleasant. Only wierd thing is you have to pay for the shower. One euro for 6 mins. So be prepared with some coins if you plan your stay here.

I think this man owner is quite dangerous, so better stay away. As a sixty year old local, I walked in yesterday to ask for prices, and I got immediately approached very aggressively. Just asking how much it cost to camp there!!! I feel ashamed and sorry for this person to be your host in the Netherlands and I apologize sincerely. Certainly not all Dutch people are like that, and I hope you all have a better experience of Dutch hospitality soon. I am afraid this man is mentally rather disturbed. Obviously he can be okay sometimes, but there is quite a bit of evidence of him not being able to handle any stress, and then he turns into a madman. And Police can not do anything untill he actually physically hurts somebody. Such is the law in the Netherlands. Please don't wait for that to happen. Meanwhile just stay away...

Camping outdoor, coin for a shower, own sleeping bag or small fee for bed lining. Arrived in summer, more than what I was expecting from a camp side.. Had no dealing with staff, cabin was small but had everything as advertised, we took the table and chairs outside just like everyone else and enjoyed our stay very much. People come back from town late at night but the camp gets quiet eventually and stays quiet morning. There are rabbits everywhere so cute, lots of people from around the globe, nice feeling and chilling place. Showers, toilets ok.

No customer service AT ALL for customers during corona shutdown. They just keep your money. If you call the phone number from the website, you are told to write an email, but all you get is the same automatic reply over and over again. I am trying to talk to a real person for 5 weeks now - without success. No chance of getting a refund or a voucher. Be careful!

Absolutely gorgeous and very affordable place to stay. Its not very far from bus or train services, although the bus journey to and from the centre of Amsterdam take a little working out. The shop has a good selection of products, the bathrooms are well maintained (shower shoes are still recommended!). Be aware that this place is quite outdoorsy, but I personally enjoyed having rabbits hopping around just feet from the cabin. Inside the cabins it can get quite warm in the summer, but they are otherwise fitted with sturdy bunk beds, WiFi, plug sockets (I would recommend bringing an extension lead if you have several devices to charge). The atmosphere is relaxed, the scenery is gorgeous, and I'd absolutely consider staying here again!
