Although the room is booked and paid for, a guest is required to pay a deposit, of an exorbitant amount, 'just to cover any cost of the minibar'! Furthermore the procedure for doing this with a credit card is not contemporary but utterly outdated and non-compliant with modern security criteria!

Nice, cool apartment hotel in a quiet area of Amsterdam (Amstelveen). Tram 5 stops right next to it and takes you to Museumplein in about 20 minutes or so. Free Wifi, little restaurant and also a small exercising room with Sauna.
What a nightmare! Never ever again. Even after on-line booking, reveiving credit card Payment, they have an (ancient?) procedure where they ask a seperate deposit by credit card of cash. You will only find out during check-in. Should you book for someone else (an expat), you have to drive after midnight (lock-down?) in order to show your ID and card and register those in a 2nd collateral form and sign again. The alternative would be to fax of e-mail this collateral evidence, which is extremely fraud sensitive.
My flight was cancelled before traveling date 2 months. I tried to request for changing the schedule. They refused any requests. They think only that the airspace of Netherlands is opened now. But they don’t care how can i go their. My country is still close the airspace. Nobody can go aboard as tourists. Cannot do even to apply the Shengen Visa. How can i go there? By boat? You are 5 stars rating hotel. But your service is same as the cheap hotel. Don’t think only Netherlands. Think more international!!
Very good treatment, very friendly employees and they help you in everything they can, the cleaning boy is the most respectful and friendly I have seen and Victor the reception boy deserves a promotion !! I would return without hesitation
