The smoked salmon salad, the smoked mackerel sandwich, the smoked salmon sandwich are just incredible. Fresh, tasty and so satisfying. I love how the waiters are kind and treat you like they've known you for a long time. The authenticity of this place, the commitment to quality, the simplicity and the care in each plate is warm the heart. I cannot wait to go back and enjoy one of those chill, and yet oddly nostalgic, Amsterdam breaks.

Really great experience! Seafood was delicious and flavor combinations are better than other places, plus the prices here are lower. Also service was 10/10! Will come back again and again.
Everything I love about a good restaurant Enough choice, but not too much (everything is fresh) Food is simple, fresh, super tasty, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. My friends and I were treated like royalty by Mido who showed us genuine hospitality. I don't have anything negative to say about that place. Experience was flawless

Perfect place to stop and have lunch after going to the market. Be sure to check what they have for the day as the food is fresh. I got the calamari main dish and my friend got the smoked salmon sandwich and both were great.
AND THIS IS HOW THE OWNER REPLY TO A COMPLAINT!!! THEY UNDERPAID OLD PEOPLE PROPOSING 6 EUROS PER HOUR! ILLEGAL! PEOPLE PLEASE, BEWARE OF IMITATIONS AND FROM BAD PEOPLE LIKE THAT!!!!!!!! REPORT HATE SPEECH!!!!!!!!
I went to Amsterdam with my boyfriend for vacation and we found Mido‘s by going around. We had the burger and a salad. Both dishes were very delicious and it‘s not that expensive compared to other restaurants in Amsterdam. Friendly service and we would eat here again. :)
