I think the pictures speak for themselves. OMG! the most beautiful sites I have ever been too. Wilderness-wise. Swans, clean BLUE skies, clear waters, untouched land. Wow! Great place to centre your zen.

The trails and nearby river a beautiful, but come prepared, they aren’t paved, and they’re often very muddy. Otherwise, worth a visit, especially considering it’s vicinity to Anchorage. The main waterfall is super pretty.

3rd largest park in America that covers almost half a million acres Three day hiking at -25 degree. There are at least 50 trekking tails in the state park, from East to hard, from easy sightseeing trails to adventurous ones. There’s lots of wild berries when it is berry season. Carry bear spray while doing hikes in summer and fall. I had three-day hike in the state park. Day one: Spent one day snowshoeing in the park, experience of lifetime Day two: Hiking along the eagle river and in the forest, spectacular views of the frozen waterfall Day three : Hiking along the ridge line, breath taking views of the wild snow mountain range. And Saw three people parachuting. Crazily cool!! Would definitely come back to do the hikes again in the summer and fall! Love Alaska!

CHUGACH IS AMAZING and bit's almost indescribable. It gives you an incredible respect for Mother Nature. The glaciers are melting at very rapid pace and sadly will be gone for future generations. Was blessed enough to get to see them up close on a guided ferry that takes you right up to the glacier. It's amazing and does you realize humans are mother natures worst enemies.
