Dan's experience and attention to detail cannot be beat. I had sore hands and shoulders for days after an awesome day full of catching and releasing beautiful fish. Can't wait to do it again!

My family and I recently complete a trip to Alaska. Fishing was one of the items on our 'bucket list'. We chose Mr Hardy based on the reviews and the fact that he was a one man fishing operation. Mr Hardy is very personable and detailed oriented. He made sure we had the correct gear, licenses, and equipment. He also helped us organize our trip to the area. He called me the day before to make sure we knew where to meet. Essentially he was more than a fishing guide and more like a close friend who lived in the area. He made sure we had a good time...and we did! My kids rated fishing with Mr Hardy higher in satisfaction than our white water rafting experience. Dan Hardy is an old-school Alaskan fishing guide with years of experience and a great personality to match! I would use Mr Hardy without reservation for any future fishing trip to Alaska.

We were lucky enough to hit a great sockeye run and Dan put us right on the fish! Not only did he find us a great spot, but his instruction on technique was extremely helpful. He gave each one of us individual attention to make sure we were as successful as possible. We had an absolute blast and learned so much! Dan is a wonderful guide and person and we look forward to booking a trip with him again in the future!

If you're heading up to Alaska to fish the Kenai or areas around Anchorage, definitely reach out to Dan. Dan is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to fish locations, changing conditions and how to best catch and land the fish of a lifetime. And when you are spending an entire day with a guide, you want someone who is genuinely awesome and informative. When you spend a day with Dan, you not only learn a ton and catch a bunch of fish -- you develop a lifelong friend. One more thing.... Dan loves fish. You might be excited to get in his boat and put something special in the net, but I guarantee he will be loving it more than you, and that's contagious.
