Ancona was a stop on our MSC Cruise. We decided not to do an organised excursion and went for a wander on our own. The cathedral is easy to find but, is a steep climb to the top. It was well worth it though and the views were stunning from the top. The cathedral is beautiful, stunning architecture and the tourist train will take you to the top for 5 Euro.

Absolutely beautiful coastal setting with great panaronic views of the port.
