Karen is a very knowledgeable, hard-working and ETHICAL attorney. She was always prepared and on time for office appointments and court appearances. And she always returned calls. Karen handled my divorce and custody case from 6/2015 until 2/2018. She made sure that I maintained ownership of my house and other personal property that I requested. I know she was not pleased with the unfair final custody decision of 68% custody being given to my ex (my ex and I had 50/50 shared custody up to this point). However, that decision came 3 weeks before my severely disabled son turned 18 in July, 2017. At this time, my ex immediately ambushed me with his petition for sole conservatorship of our son. I believe my ex was trying to remove me from my son's life. Karen amazingly offered to represent me in conservator court (unfamiliar territory for her), while simultaneously finishing my divorce! Together, Karen and I navigated our way through the conservator court process. And Karen is EXCELLENT in trial! She had the pleasure of 2 prior family court trials with my ex, and she knew which buttons to push (big grin). Karen was up against one of the best probate/conservator attorneys in Shasta County. As usual, Karen brought her 'A Game'. We finished our trial in conservator court in January, 2018 and the judge ultimately granted MY petition in February. I truly appreciate everything Karen has done for me and my son!

Very interesting, Karen is just about average but the way they tell your your money ran out a couple days before the final court date. After that I payed 500 dollars to mighty docs to take a piece of paper to court and I waited 2 months to get a reply,I finished everything on my own a.d picked up my own papers. Do more research before picking this law firm

She could not fight her way out of a paper bag! She doesn't listen to a word you say. Her rates are way too high ! Don't waste your time or money! .
