Been in to talk to them many times, not listened too, told I'll be emailed or contacted back only to never hear from them again. Been trying for over a year.

I was referred to Andover Hospital by my GP as an emergency mental health patient. I was seen by a very young mental health worker for an assessment. I did not feel listened toor understood, she asked some questions and did not listen properly to my answers. I feel that I am in need of some serious and quick intervention and I was told that if I wanted to go on a waiting list then I would be waiting for more than 8 months, I might not be here in 8 months time. Appalling service, even with a GP referral, there is nowhere to go for help with mental health. I am surprised that Andover Mind has the NHS contract but cannot provide the service, shocking, what is the NHS coming to? If I had broken my leg, I would have been dealt with on the day, however because my mind is broken I have to wait 8 months to be able to get some help to function properly, absolutely appalling.
