Quite average. Chicken rice had a short queue but a very long wait. The taste was still quite good, and the chicken tasted quite juicy and fresh. Recommend going earlier as less stalls are open in the evening. Overall less happening than a few years ago.

A medium sized hawker centre which is clean, spacious and well ventilated. There is always a long queue at the roast meat stall. Tried their assorted roast meat set for one person but was a bit disappointed probably due to too high expectations. The roast pork skin is crispy though. Another stall’s Amaranth soup is quite big portion and tastes good.

The roast duck is superb!!! Juicy ,crispy skin, with flavour ozooing out when you bite the succulent meat. Taste linger in the mouth. Even at 4.30pm, the queue is unending.

Like the bustling atmosphere in the hawker. Ordered the century egg with minced meat porridge and the friend black carrot cake. The porridge was worth the try, but not so for the fried carrot cake which I finds it so so only. Will come back to try more food! :)

Petty much like the other neighbourhood markets. I was told however that the wet market prices here are higher than the other Ang Mo Kio markets. I have eaten at the food section during breakfast, lunch and dinner and were generally happy with choices and quality.

The roast meat store is always packed with a long queue. When visiting just look for the longest que! Char siew is juicy & tender but considered the older style of char siew compared to modern day fatty Hong Kong roast. They are well known for the roast duck as well being fresh & well marinated. This store is very detailed in their sides as well. As seen alot effort is put in for the pickled cucumber salad (acar) compared to just regular fresh cucumbers only. It brings a nice tangy but sweet pallette to the tongue because of the fresh ingredients used; helps to cut away the heavy taste of the duck meats & gives a refreshing cleanse in the mouth. The soup is also well made. Using fresh yellow bean as base, the soup doesn't taste artificial at all. It taste very home-ly & definitely a good soup to go along with the rice. Other popular food in this hawker centre includes the big prawn noodle. The broth base is mainly prawn meaning the soup will have a cleaner & more pronounce taste of the prawn heads. Quite a generous portion for a 8 bowl of prawn mee. It's definitely worth the money as too much effort will be utilised if want to make it at home. Prawns are generally quite fresh but you will have to peel them yourself as it comes whole with all the shell still intact. There's a sink to wash your hands afterwards towards the back of the hawker market.

Good variety of stalls selling different kinds of food, and during lunch, it sure is packed and not enough seats. There are a few stalls with queues, but worth the wait.
