Good food and outdoor patio seating. Good beer in a nice setting. We had a nice evening.

My fiance and I love trying new breweries around the Valley so we decided to stop in at Angel's Trumpet Ale House in Downtown Phoenix. Our first impression of the place as we pulled up was that the place looked really cool. There was an outside patio where lots of people were sitting, but we were pretty cold so we decided to sit inside. Upon walking inside, we noticed all the beers on tap written beautifully on a huge chalkboard behind the bar. They had a wide variety of different beers to choose from. As soon as we sat down at a table, we were kindly greeted by our server, I believe his name was either Shane or Danny. He was extremely friendly, attentive and always made sure we had full drinks in front of us. We need more servers like him in this world. He made our experience here super enjoyable. We ordered a flight and a pitcher of beer (9 on Sundays!!) and enjoyed every single beer. We are not huge ale drinkers, but every beer on here was really tasty. Our favorite was the Candy Cane White Chocolate (Sonoran, AZ) beer. We liked it so much we even got a growler of it to take home with us for later! For food we ordered chips and salsa and a green burro, enchilada style. The chips were crispy, they had lots of sauces and the portion was great. As for the burro, it was extremely hot and my fiance had a hard time eating it since it was kind of falling apart, but it tasted extremely delicious. My fiance said she would probably ask for it extra crispy next time so that she will be able to cut and eat it properly. Overall our experience here was amazing, our server was outstanding and we will definitely be coming back soon!

So the first time I came to angels trumpet,I loved it food was good the pop tart omg I crave that almost every day , I'm. Giving it 4 stars only due to my second experience where the wings and gravy fries (poutine ) failed to satisfy and could only get through a few more bites . Beer is great tho enjoyed a flight both times, and definitely getting that pop tart

This was a great spot to eat safely during these times. There was plenty of space to eat outside, with plenty of shade. The best part was the food! It was so delicious. You must try the wings & fried riblets! The service was friendly! I will visit again!!

Angels Trumpet always excellent beer and food. Staff not friendly at all today, maybe they are sick of the holiday visitors and larger parties? One of my favorite places so highly recommend and rack the lack of friendliness to covid and the holiday season.
