Paid 900 for a brand new MICROCAT HD baitboat. A boat arrived. On opening the boat I discovered that both hoppers had become detached from the hull. The boat was returned and refunded. Then, perhaps somewhat foolishly I decided to buy another. On day two of is usage the boat got to a distance of 120m and lost signal. It was Dead In The Water. So as I was frantically trying to think of a way to safely recover circa 1k of equipment it became clear that putting my life at risk and swimming out 120m plus into my gravel pit was the only way I could before the wind smashed it into an island. The boat has since gone back to manufacturers for repair and the current situation is ANGLING DIRECT are not willing to help in any way with this. Not in the form of an apology or the partial refund I requested to compensate my troubles. The boat is yet to come back to me and so are my emails of complaint to AD customer services. MORAL OF THIS SO FAR LADS Don’t be giving this lot any custom because if and when things go south they won’t care because your money is already in their account. Updates to follow on this mess ......
