It’s all in Japanese, but they lent us free audio tours, so you don’t have to be able to read everything yourself. We saw a really nice exhibit about the Olympics (the First/last time they were in Japan) and the building of the Shinkansen/Tokaido railway line. Upstairs has a seemingly more permanent exhibit about the more prehistoric historic history of the area, which I especially enjoyed. The surrounding park is really nice too, there’s a shrine and an art museum and an art installation that plays music as set times, and something else I haven’t been in yet. There’s also free parking

安祥文化の里まつりに行ってきました。レジンキーホルダーや勾玉作り、的当てなど出店があったり、地元の歴史の展示等、色々体験することが出来ました。
明日までナイトミュージアムをやっています いろんなお店と 風鈴の音色がして涼しく感じますもしよかったら皆さんもいってみてくださいね 楽しんでくださいね
安城松平氏に関連した企画展を数年ごとにやってくれますので、郷土史好きには好感が持てる博物館です 安祥城跡地にありますので、松平広忠と織田信秀の間で繰り広げられた安城合戦に思いを馳せて付近の史跡巡りをしてもよろしいかと思います
展示コーナーにあった朝日遺跡の説明図。 ん？？清州市？？？ 清須市ですね。
戦争に関する展示をやってました。小中学生向けの展示だろうと思います。
安城に関する企画展が多い。 常設展示は安城の歴史展示が古代から近代までが、まとまっており分かりやすい。
富士山の写真展、松原満男さんの絵画展がありました。 とても楽しめました。
