This was a few years back but I Saw Dave I won he did tell me that I cut myself because I was bored he told me to just quit with all the suicide attempt and cutting he basically made fun of me for me in a wheelchair he just kept continuing asking over and over again “I don’t understand how you need to have a wheelchair if you have a headache” he basically wouldn’t help me figure out what was bothering me he was just like so how does that affect you and I would say I don’t know and he wouldn’t explain any father he yelled at me once because I said I don’t know.

This program is fantastic! Once you allow yourself to give into change it helps with all kinds of emotional and behavioral problems. It works if you work it, and you need to want to be better. It changed my life, I'm so happy and have learned to love myself again!

Terrible experience with this program. Therapist did not connect with my child and when I asked about a potential change in therapist, my child was discharged from the program without any opportunity to find another mental health caregiver. Pleaded with the person in charge of the program to allow time to try find another place as required by the NASW code of ethics but she did not care

It’s been about a year since I stopped going here. I left before completion. I had a really nice therapist that I clicked with until they relocated. They matched me with someone new about 2-3 weeks later. I was without a therapist during that time. Of what I could tell, my new therapist was completely untrained in dbt. She never wrote anything down during our sessions, didn’t have me do diary cards for months. When she did get some training, she became very strict about the completion of diary cards. She was also NEVER on time for our sessions. She had a lunch break before my slot and was alway 10-15 minutes late. I commute an hour to get there, was 15 mins late and left my phone at home. SHE NEVER SHOWED UP! I was so mad at her. I expressed my feelings about it and she put me on three week probation and then I never came back. The group sessions are what helped me the most. Dbt group therapy definitely changed something in me.

My wife and a number of my friends have been patients here and all of them have grown tremendously from their work with the Center! This is a great place to work on retraining yourself to be your best self, or working through negative and harmful behavioral patterns and traumas.
