This is the best auto repair shop I have ever been to. I brought my Volvo in for a check up, both Abraham and Nate were so friendly, easy to work with and for the first time I felt like I was getting honest answers. They did the most thorough inspection of my car and have helped me tremendously. Anyone looking for honest trustworthy service from the friendliest team ever should go here. Ive already recommended them to multiple friends. I'm so happy that I went to Fawzi's and will not go anywhere else for my car maintenance.

I noticed my brake pedal fading toward the floor and braking was weak. Nervous, I walked into Fawzi's and asked if they could look at my brakes. The owner said driving like that was dangerous. His mechanics diagnosed my problem within the hour. No brake fluid left! I am very grateful to Fawzi's for helping me on such short notice. I have taken my car to this shop many times before. They always do good work, reasonably priced, and they explain well. I trust them. I'm a loyal customer and tell all my friends to go there.
I have been going to Fawzi's automotive for many many years. Know most yet not all other repair places but Fawzi's is by far the best. Not sure why the negative feedback review here; if there is one thing Fawzi's does NOT do is bait and switch. And not only would I refer him in a heartbeat, but friendly customer service also matches excellent and competent work there. I have been referred to another local mechanic - family owned - but LOVE Fawzi's and am a loyal for as I said many years. SuperJanitor Jen
I, like a lot of others have ran into money problems. I have taken my car to Fawzi's and had unexpected expenses come up at home and ran short on the money for repairs. When I explained this to Fawzi, being the understanding and helpful person he is, he worked with me. I don't know of any other shop that cares about their customers as much as Fawzi's, I will never go to another mechanic shop.
Recently I was in Arbor for my Mother's Funeral. While in town I had a bit of car trouble. Over several days, I went from shop to shop without getting my car repaired properly. When I picked your shop out of the phone book I was utterly fed up with car mechanics in Arbor and in general. You brought me back to your mechanic and when I explained the problem to him he said it sounds like a TPS unit problem. When he hooked it up to the diagnostic machine it confirmed his hunch. He replaced the part and we took a test drive, Problem Solved! In 15 minutes he solved a problem I had been trying to get fixed for three days. My car made it back to Richmond, Virginia without a bit of problem, it is still running wonderfully today. Thank you! I only wish I had found your establishment first thing and that we had shops your caliber here in Virginia. My car pulls SLIGHTLY to the left, I was about to leave on a business trip up north. I called in first thing in the morning, asking if they could do an alignment (a 70 service) before 2 when I wanted to leave. I was told this wouldn't be a problem if I got my car to them etc. As soon as I was on the phone, I had my car to the shop in 10 minutes. I reiterated I needed to be on the road by 2. Guy said they would shoot for 1:30, and call me when it was done. 1:30 comes and goes. 2:00 comes and goes. 2:15 rolls around, I get a call saying I need new tie rods (they didn't want to do an alignment and there still be an issue), and the parts would not be there until the next day if I wanted to do it, then he asked me if I wanted to do it (700). I don't know if I really need to tie rods (I'm guessing I'm ok if I can deal with the car not driving 100% straight), but what I am not ok with, is being told repeatedly my car could be done by 2, then getting a call at 2:15 telling me no work had actually been done to the car. They might actually do good work, I'm not sure as I will NEVER waste my time there again.
Went to get my brakes checked. Even though just a month ago I had them looked at and was told everything was fine, which there were grinding when I took it in, he literally said everything needed to be replaced. He said the right front caliper was stuck open and I needed TWO new calipers. I could do this work myself, but it's 20 degrees outside. He thinks I'm an idiot, and I would not recommend going here.
I took my car here for years until he attempted to rip me off. I went in to have my breaks inspected he was very insistent not only the pads should be changed but the rotors. He quoted me a price of 450.00. I didn't agree with his assessment he became upset and displayed a condescending attitude. The next day I took my car to a dealership and they said my rotors were more than fine and only the pads needed to be changed labor is a little bit more at dealerships but I still saved over two hundred dollars. It seems to me Fawzi is very nice until you begin to question a service or price then he turns into a jerk.
