The staff is super nice and they fully customize every massage to what your needs are at that appointment! I love their membership deal because you get a lower price for every massage, plus unused monthly massages can rollover to the next month or you can share them with someone else. I've been going for 6 months now and I love it.

I had a 90 minute massage scheduled and the therapist and I couldn’t quite get in sync. She was focusing more on my trigger points, when all I had asked for was a relaxing massage. The therapist was very nice and I had 0 issues with her personally, but again, her style of massage was different than what I was looking for (I even did my research on the La Vida website to find a good match for myself). After I had asked to speak with a manager, I was told that a refund/future credit couldn’t be issued to me (even though I did not enjoy the massage at all and was in pain 90% of the time). I was not happy that I had to pay 60 for a massage that I did not enjoy whatsoever and was told I had to pay because that’s how the therapist gets paid. To me, that was awful customer service and I did not leave a happy customer. I fully intended to tip her based off her time if I wasn’t charged because I understand she still needed to be paid, but the situation wasn’t handled in a customer oriented way. I left a very unhappy customer.
