An amazing spot. I can't think of a better place in Ann Arbor to buy seafood. They are tucked away in the Kerrytown Market District. They offer great lunch deals, to go chowders and seafood stock/bases, with handmade sides and accompaniment. If your in the area and looking to buy fresh seafood to cook at home or a place to grab a quick lunch, Monahan's is the real deal.

Bad first experience! My food was 24 something in total. Gave the stuff 40 bucks, only get 5 dollar bill in return. Only realized it when I got home! Fish n chips are so bad compared to the authentic one people offer in British and Australia! Claimed the amount of money that was mine. The attitude of the stuff is very good. But the food I had is really not that satisfying. Won't recommend fish n chips and soft shell crab!

Clean fish mart with lots of variety. Lunch entrees showcase quality of seafood with know-how in preparation/cooking. Don't be fooled by the paper plates used for serving - though not fancy, the food was incredible. Will eat again.
