I’ve always wanted to make people happy by giving them a warm, homey, cozy place where they can eat and stay to meet friends or read a book. Food helps us make new friends and sustain old friendships. Our dishes like our Kimchi are made the traditional way, with my family’s old recipes. I believe that One must always find time for the things that make you feel happy to be alive. When all things are done with love, amazing things will happen. We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we went to this fine restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a delightful time there with fine dishes and a professional stuff and an impressive chief cook. We added this venue in our phone list and we shall no doubt return very soon. We highly recommend.

It's good but very expensive for the same thing you get other places for much less. Staff is nice, place looks cute and clean. I can't say the rice tasted quite Chinese, almost like a mixture of cultures, that didn't make it bad but certainly different.

I simply love this place. It is like a hug. There is a wide range of asian food and all that I have had is very good. The pho and crispy fried tofu vermicelli are my favorites. But everything else looks great. The proprietress is a ray of sunshine and tells everyone that leaves 'have a nice day' when she is on the floor. The servers are all very capable. It can get busy, but I have never had to wait very long for my meal to arrive. There are probably a hundred feel good signs on the wall - that may seem over the top, but after you have spent time there, you will realize that they are all genuine sentiments and along with the pillows scattered about, make the place so cozy and welcoming.

I love this place. Literally every single item on the menu that I’ve tried is amazing, and I’ve tried a lot of them. I used to go here a lot before corona, and it’s a bummer that I can’t do that anymore, but I get takeout often and it’s still amazing. I know that a lot of local businesses in Ann Arbor depend on the student population, so the pandemic must have been hard on them, but I hope One Bowl does well and stays around for a long long time.
