I own a 2008 Polaris Trail Touring. That particular model has had problems with overheating and cylinders seizing. I was in Canada in 2011 and the motor seized, and I brought it home to be repaired by a different shop. I didn't get it back until mid March, and didn't get to test it again until December. within the first hour of running the sled, it appeared that it seized again. The shop said there was nothing they could do. I left it in the trailer behind the garage in the woods for 7 years. Out of sight, out of mind. I just recently retired, and had time to fool with it again. Same shop as before refused to work on it, told me to sell it for parts. I decided to gamble and let Pat and Son have a go at it. I read a lot about the problem online and saw that there were shops that had success correcting the problem with the sled. I called Pat and Son, and they were well versed with that sleds particular issues, and felt comfortable they could correct it. As it turned out the cylinder wasn't seized, and all it needed was a good clean-up and overhaul. I also have a 2009 model of the same sled, but never had problems with it. They cleaned that one up too. I was pleased with the overall cost of getting the sleds operational, but even more pleased that the problems were corrected. I have put close to 150 miles on the sleds on three day trips, and they were flawless! Now I find myself hoping for more snow! I am looking forward to takin them back up to my cottage in Canada again!

Eric and his team are 1st rate. They have gone out of there way more than once to assure the best sales and service experiences. I've been a satisfied customer for over 20 yrs. They are in a seasonal business so yes sometimes you have to wait your turn for the \excellence\ service they provide.
