Schoon Sensei offers the real thing. Anshinkan Dojo is the standard other places need to rise up to compare. If you are in the area, it is a must visit. The Students and Staff are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, skilled and experienced. Don't take it from me. Go there and find out for yourself!!

I've been going for about two years now, love it. Excellent sensei and very friendly atmosphere. As other reviewers have stated, the primary focus is Yoshinkan Aikido, but you can also learn Tai Chi or Kenpo Karate. Classes are a great work out and you a learning a very effective style that isn't based solely on brute strength.

The sensei is really cool, nice fellow students too, always really helpful towards me and the other new people. Sensei Marcus teaches kenpo, tai chi and primarily yoshinkan aikido. It's a neat style, as well as effective. We also practice with weapons, which is probably the most fun for me; it's a good work out. I was a fan of the price too, very reasonable.
