After a couple hundred 5 Star review it is hard to say anything new. Elegant, interesting and tasty food, kind waiter, fair prices and they even know how to make proper coffee, which is rare.

We went to Recuerdos Tapas Bodega for lunch after reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed! Amazing tapas for cheap prices, the waiter was really kind and helpful. Everything we had tasted really great. Fresh products and lovely dishes!
So this place is No 1 restaurant in Antequera on TripAdvisor. We’ve been to a few No 1 restaurants in Tripadvisors and not all are good. This place is very very good - it’s No 1 is truly deserved. The food is really really good. We have travelled and eaten all over Spain for over 30 years. My wife is half Spanish. I’m telling you - this place is very good. You must the try the Purra Antequera - it’s like Salmarejo but with more garlic - really good. We were lucky to time our visit with a performance from a carnival group. Brilliant Our waiter Christian from Colombia was superb - the whole service was excellent I would throughly recommend this restaurant - it’s worth all the plaudits. A fantastic taperia in a modern way. Traditional dishes very well made together with others elaborated with more risky combinations. Young staff doing their best to make customers feel at home. 4 of us had lunch here after reading good reviews. We weren't disappointed. Started with 4 sharing dishes then 4 mains, 3 desserts coffee and brandy. Everything was lovely and service excellent. Will be back
