I've been a patron of AVH since I was a child. My mom took all my pets here and so do I. I do use both locations but I tend to use the 10th street location more. This review is very overdue. The most important thing in my pet's care is trust. I trust all staff at AVH. Both locations. I do want to call out specifically Lisa S. As she has helped me fill my prescription food requirements especially during the pandemic. She has been really responsive and made sure I got what I needed when I needed it. I'm just sorry I don't know all the vet techs name who have helped my pets so I can mention them specifically. Thank you for all your attentive care.

My overall experience was fantastic I sadly had to put my dog button down due to old age and health reasons and there staff there took such good care of her and and just made the whole process feel smooth and they were so comforting and sent a letter of sympathy and also provides a box with my dogs ashes and a certificate with here paw print and a beautiful poem that touched my heart I'm so very greatful and definitely recommend my friends and family to go there with there pets.
They are very kind and caring. They have helped some of my cats when they were sick. Some others could not be helped due to the degree of their illness or me not being able to afford the cost of the treatment. The Doctors and the staff have always been knowledgeable, patient, understanding and truly compassionate. They care for my kitties and me too. When I would have to have one of my sweet cats put down, the Doctors and Staff would comfort me. I have 12 (indoor only) cats now and I wish I was rich enough to take care of them in the best way. I would bring all of the to these wonderful people so they would receive the very BEST care.
My new local vet. They seemed very kind and calm (even for my anxious dog). I look forward to working with them.
