Brew And View is AWESOME! The staff is top notch... Very friendly and professional. Wonderful location and a huge improvement over the old restaurant/bar. I had the shrimp and it tasted fantastic, my table was always tended to by the attentive staff. DO RECOMMEND!

The Thirsty Turtle Brew and View Pub is awesome! New owners took over recently and have some amazing updates to the place! They have a great craft beer selection, and some very nice craft spirits as well. Try the Tiburon Rum, absolutely great new rum that is local to Chicago! If you are looking for a nice new place to go check out, definitely go check out the Thirsty Turtle!
Tried again yesterday. Will not go again. Service Is terrible!!! If you have hours this is the place for you. It's a shame. Location on channel lake is great, docking is great. As a friend said as we waited for our drinks for over 1/2 hour "someone should open a restaurant here". We ended up leaving when we went inside to get our drinks & were ignored by waiter & bartender.
2.50 Miller Pints special but they had the wrong beer hooked up to tapper. My wife switched to bottles and they charged 3.25. One would think they'd charge the 2.50 due to the error. I was having Jack & Coke doubles which tasted like a regular J & C. When we got the bill it was 10 a drink! That is absurd. When I complained to the owner she stated the Liquor Commission requires her to charge this much. I guess every other bar in Lake County is in violation. I told her I won't be back. Go to Riverside in Wilmot. Correct beers on tap and 10 Jack & Coke pitchers. Only reason it got two stars is because the staff was friendly.
The staff go above and beyond, the views are extremely beautiful. The food is absolutely delicious and the craft beers and other drinks are just awesome as well. I would definitely suggest dining here or having a few drinks or coming out for the night life.
Came here via boat. Docking was easy. Excellent selection of craft beers and decent options for vegetarians. Service was great!
