The food was delicious and the selection of beers and wine very good. The starters were a little pricey compared to the mains but tasted great. In hindsight I would have just gone for her main meal as the portions are very big, that is of course a great thing! The steak was delicious, cooked perfectly as requested, medium rare. I had a vispannetje, which was translated to me as \fish stew\. I was a bit unimpressed after I found that that the fish in it was salmon (which is not my favorite), but man, it also had some shrimps and mussels all thrown in a delicious sauce which i'm guessing uses cream and white wine and some vegetables that I couldn't make it.
We couldn't immediately be seated and since it's quite small we had to wait outside (just went for a walk) so if you're coming here I recomend making a reservation. Staff is super friendly and the food is real belgium and real good. I loved every dish we had. It was my girlfriends birthday and they went to extra mile to make it special.
Delicious food and good atmosphere. Place is tiny so make sure to make reservations. We got lucky, but many after us had to be turned down. We had the cheese croquettes as a starter, they come in 3 and are big, so a good dish to share. They were delicious hence no picture As a main we both had the entrecote with pepper sauce and mushroom sauce and man man man was it good!! Would definitely recommend this place when you visit Antwerp.
The food was simply stunning. We had read the seafood stew was delicious and the reviewers got it right. There is plenty of nice bread to munch on and the stew is generous (make sure you're hungry).
It’s our third time at this nice restaurant, we came here because of good reviews and our experience was pleasant The place is small with 2 floors and always full of people (it’s a good sign in a big and popular cities as Antwerpen). My choice was lamb, beef and chicken kebab with baked potato They brought me a salad as well. Nice The only thing I didn’t like is that the waitress didn’t ask about my meat: “How would you like it done?” And it was cooked less than I like. But anyway taste was good. And this place is a right choice for your dinner

Fantastic restaurant! We had an awesome meal there! The taste of the meat is really juicy and everything was just very well! The atmosphere is very cozy. We had a table at the window which was perfect since you can see the big church from inside and all the beautiful lights in the evening. The staff was very friendly! However since it is only a small place and very popular you should make a reservation before!
