This was my first year to use an accountant to complete my taxes because I usually do them myself, unfortunately I did not have the best experience. It took over a month to complete, I was not given timely updates on delays, and my emails went without responses for long periods of time, requiring me to call to get an update on the timeline of my taxes. I thought it would be a relatively seamless process, but it was not. I understand that this year was probably more challenging due to the pandemic, but I did not enjoy my experience.
