This place really wowed me. Like when you approached the outside it dosent look like much but walking in is a total change. The service was 100% fantastic our server Mitzy was amazing. The food was to die for, I have been looking for a great Italian restaurant and I think I have now found my go to place. As well as when you are a new customer and you order dessert you get a little welcome message on it, I recommend coming here and giving it a try.

I randomly stumbled upon this place via open table- it was a breeze making a reservation (which I highly suggest). We were seated right away right by the pool and distanced from other guests. All associates had masks on as well. The cocktails were amazing, Trey also made sure to remind us of last call and checked in on us frequently. He was such a gem- I knew right away there was something special about him.... he's from the south!! His hospitality is unmatched and he truly made our Sunday that much better.
We LOVE it here! I was impressed. We got the chicken satay and cheese fries for our appetizers. The chicken satay was a little squishy but still very good. We also got the orange chicken and carbonara which were both amazing. I was hesitant to try the vegan bacon because it can be a hit or miss, but it was definitely a hit. The front cashier was also very friendly and welcoming.
They deserve this rating because they put an unauthorized charge on my credit card that was deducted from my account and the waitress said it was just pending and would not come out of my balance. I tried to explain to two different waitresses that it did, in fact come out of my balance because I called my credit Union and they told me they needed the amount to be voided by the restaurant. The amount for our party was over 300.00, My part of that was under 40.00. They charged me both, and also charged my daughter. They charged both credit cards I asked to speak to Barbara, one of the owners, and she never called me back, the waitress said Barbara told her it was just pending and wouldn’t come out of my account. It certainly DID come out of my account. She never called me, and didn’t believe it was deducted from my account. I know it did because I called my credit union. I always loved Anzios, my whole family and friends go there a lot, for over 12 years. I never thought the owners would treat their customers like that. To not even care enough to call back and straighten out the problem. It was their error, not mine. I would think they would apologize and maybe even give you a free dessert. Well, I won’t go back, there are plenty of good Italian restaurants in Phoenix. Just watch your receipts and check your bank account after you go there.
A hidden gem! This family owned Italian restaurant is a neighborhood favorite that has a well deserved long list of regulars. The baked rigatoni with sausage is my go to, but everything on the menu I've had has been great. If your not in the mood for italian they have excellent pizza and wings as well. If you're looking for somewhere to host an event ask about the large banquet room available in the back.
