There aren’t as many “civil” beach options in Khao Lak and this is one of them. I really enjoyed the tranquility. Gorgeous white sand, plenty of shade. 150 baht for a sunbed or order at least as much at the restaurant and the bed is for free. The prices are very reasonable for the location.

Beautiful and calm location far from messy crowded spots in Tailand. It is a “slice of paradise” . Bungalows are basic but very spacious and bathroom is also big and perfectly working. Also very clean Bungalows are right on the beach. Personnel is kind and polite and helps if possible. They do not speak much English. Recommend

Positive: - nice and close beach, - own bungalows - air conditioning Negative: - pushy waiters, I haven't opened the menu and they already asked what I want/wait next to your table - stinking bathroom - triple room has only one blanket, third person only had covers - food mediocre
Hotel/Bungalows: You are in Thailand, don't expect too much. The rooms are basic, have air-conditioning, have running water and the possibility to charge your phone. Bathroom smells like a sewer, keep the door closer at all times. Bed sheets are only available for two of the 3 beds. Distance to the beach from the bungalows in the middle 100m/300ft. Restaurant/Service: Middle of the road food quality with over-atentive servers. Friendly but pushy. Little too much if you stay there for a few days and there is no 'espace'. Breakfast is basic, instant coffee only. Later in the day they serve cappuccino from their machine but not for breakfast. The guys taking care of the beach are very friendly and help you anytime you need anything. Great service here. Overall, good location with limitations in regards to accomodation and food quality. Would probably pick a different place to stay next time.
