We hired a car for 5 days and found everything about the experience to be professional. Prompt shuttle bus pickup, friendly staff, quick in and out with paperwork, good price and great small size vehicle that was clean and ran well. This is perhaps the best service I have experienced from any hire car company over many years. We will certainly book with Apex in Sydney Airport again.

Great staff, great cars, great rates. Rented from here more than once, and found the staff to be very helpful and especially Duty Mgr Rick has been very professional, and goes out of his way to make sure we are taken care of. At this rate I won't use another company - APEX has my biz. :) Keep up the great work! Update: Dec 8, 2020. I use APEX all the time, and different offices around the country. So far, most representatives are just awesome and so accommodating (shout out to Mark on the Gold Coast). Just booked another car with the Sydney Airport office. This time dealing with Bill and yet again had an awesome experience giving that bit extra in customer service. I rarely do reviews because if I can't say something nice, I don't say anything. But APEX deserves a second 5star review. Thanks guys for making a stressful time pleasant!

I love Apex! They played such an essential part in making my year better and helped me discover as much as possible. In a year of mostly negative experiences, Apex was one of the few positive ones. Just a few reasons why you should choose Apex when you are renting a car in Australia: - The Sydney team is all smiles and super helpful, everyone is always on the top of their game. I have to specially mention the manager of the Sydney store, Bill, who is nice, laidback, and always has a nice word or two to the customers. He perfectly embodies the Australian spirit for me! - I have tried several times, but Apex' prices can not be beaten, and their cars are in top condition. Renting from Apex feels way more personal, than renting from multionationals, the service they provide is better, the price you get is also better, what are we talking about? Thank you for everything, it was a pleasure renting from you! Wish Apex all the best!
One of the worst car rentals I have ever used. If I could vote less then 1 star I would. I rented the Hyundai i30 accent rego 335 TYS and this car should not be on the road not only did this car shake at 110km the car pulled tragically to the left myself and my partner felt very unsafe in the vehicle and soon returning we were told we would receive a full refund of our hire car but we only received 2 days back out of 7. The customer service is horrendous not only was I told false information about my refund I was guaranteed but the down right attitude from there staff. I was told I will be called after my return on the 29th dec and after 4 days I got a call back, I rang the company everyday leaving my name and number asking to be contacted that day and nothing. I was also promised they will call me back each day what a lie. When I finaly received my call they would not keep there promise on a full refund and replied with "we have given you a 2 day refund and we dont need to do that but we did out of courtesy" not only did this unreliable company put myself and my partner at risk with such a vehicle but continue to use this vehicle to this day without fixing what's wrong. I could not take my partner to all the places we wanted to go because of this vehicle and even when I emailed them this information within the first 24hrs of the hire I received no reply. From a customer this is the worst form of treatment anyone can receive and as a business the worst move they can make. I will never be using this place ever and urge others to steer clear of these untrustworthy companys. Never be back again and I will be spreading these words for the sake of other travelers who also wish the safety of there own self and loved ones when traveling.
Wonderfully friendly service, good prices and a good car. We used these guys as the T&Cs of Apex allows driving on gravel roads, whereas most others do not, as well as no additional charge for extra drivers. Their Mitsubishi Outlander served us well driving through country NSW for 7 days.
Extremely friendly and comprehensive staff. We got upgraded on top of the excellent service. I was worried since they are way cheaper than others, but the service was premium and I don't think going anywhere else anymore!
