Much better, reliable fuel company's out there, with helpful and honest staff and better prices too.Apollo are the opposite. Total disgrace, liars, half job Harry's. I've had to contact them about the same issue delivery after delivery and as this pertains to a 91year old man with dementia, you,d think they would keep their word and at the very least do the job right. The girl I speak to has no honest bone, she makes up excuse after excuse and contradicts what she said prior then denies saying it, record your calls if you phone them. They are a joke.

Phoned them to enquire about 40L of kerosene or red diesel for 2 heaters, unfortunately they could only supply me with 500L. However a lady called Karen advised me where to purchase red diesel and also called back a few minutes later to inform me of where I could purchase kerosene. Little things like that go along way. I ordered my heating oil via Boiler Juice they offer competitive prices on heating oil, they then forward the order to a local supplier, in my case this was Apollo Fuels. Apollo called me before the delivery, when the delivery was made they filled my tank rather than delivering what I had ordered, to be fair my partner said this was okay to do as the driver had said that we would get the heating oil at a reduced rate. However, I then received a phone call after the oil had been delivered only offering a reduced rate on the difference and not the full amount as the driver had implied. Sharp practice in my opinion and not how business should be conducted. We felt taken advantage of, we are very disappointed with Apollo.
These guys are a small local firm. I've used them for a few years now. When I moved to the area, I tried all the big boys thinking I'd get a better price. After a recommendation, I tried Apollo and their prices were just as competitive as the national brands and their service is excellent. I always get the oil within 48Hrs of ordering and often its only 24Hrs. They've always got here too - whatever the weather! The drivers are also great. Access to our tank isn't ideal but they've never had a problem (or moaned about it). Great service good prices I definitely recommend these guys to anyone.
