This man is a gentleman, extremely competent, and a very industrious individual. He came to the house, inspected the old system, determined that is was made up from parts, and grossly inefficient. Made recommendations on what had to be done, gave me an estimate, and installed a very sophisticated water treatment system, at a very reasonable price. He also found an air leak at the well head that was causing serious bacteria growth that left rust type stains on the house plumbing fixtures, replaced the well head pipe, installed a new check value (made from brass, not PVC), and removed an inefficient suction line (too many elbows) thus increasing flow rate. The air leak was caused by the original installer using the wrong glue (blue in color), which dried out and cracked. He used the proper glue, either gray or white, depending on what part of the system he was working one. He cleaned up after the installation was done, and left the pump house clean and neat.
If you need a new system, or just a check-up, this is the gentleman to call. If you have a PVC check valve, have him replace it immediately, as PVC check values are not strong enough to take the back flow pressure and will eventually fail, leaving you with no water. It pays to be studious and have the PVC value replaced, as brass one, that will last forever.
If you are having trouble with your water treatment system, save yourself a lot of time, trouble, and money, and call this gentleman first. You will not regret it.
