Very good school. A super serious school when it comes to academics. Most teachers and admin are caring and take their jobs serious, the kids are always their main concern. This is not a school where your kid can just hang out and not take his time there serious he or she will then definitely struggle. Arapahoe High School is without a doubt a 'Top Notch' school.

Not the worst school but the administration is severely lacking creating a disconnect with the students. The teachers however are some of the best around, and the janitorial and maintenance staff are very friendly and do their jobs extremely well.

I never had once gotten into any fights at this school. I only stood up for myself because I was being bullied badly. I switched schools for second semester of my junior year, I came back to Colorado since I had moved. I asked to get back into Arapahoe for my senior year, they unfortunately told me I was to \violent\. I'm not. I went there for three years, and they wouldn't even let me back in. Some of staff really cares but some of the teachers I had worked with didn't understand anyone at all. Even some of my teachers had acted inappropriately, such as making degrading comments, calling out people who had depression, actually told kids to pay attention in class, because they were having panic attacks. Even one of my old counselors told me, I should just leave that school because I wasn't smart enough to be there. There's so much bullying there, they treat the athletes like gods, while everyone else isn't really tolerated in a way. They got into trouble for small things, while the athletes do the same thing and don't get into trouble.

I love my school. The students and staff of Arapahoe are a family. While many say that the administration didn't do everything right in regards to the shooting, without the policies in place and the bravery of the teachers and security guards, it would have been much worse. I am proud to be a Warrior. My teachers are my friends and they are always there to help me when I need it. Some may say that the school is only focused on athletics but that is not true. The performing arts department is spectacular and the academics are a step above other schools in the area. Im not gonna pretend that Arapahoe doesn't pride themselves on the caliber of the athletics but they dont favor athletes. If anything, athletes are held to a higher standard of academic success and behavior in the community. Warriors always take care of each other.

None of the teachers care about bullying in the slightest, especially if they're in a sports team and doing well. They choose brawn over brains any day of the week! Send your children here if you want them to become meatheads.
