I went for my mom's cataract operation, but even after 6 months she still has eye irritation and turns red & feels mild pain in eye. The doctor never gave me proper response. So, I went for second opinion with other eye specialist, she told me, they made something which cause high pressure in eye. Usually here, doctor won't talk to you. Only nurses will assist you. They need to change their approach.

Had similar experience to Anandan V, another reviewer. The doctor doesn't talk to you directly, only talks to the nurse and expects the nurse to deal with you, which is quite insulting if you are a patient. The doctor just leans back in his chair and passes judgments. Also the things he said about the history of conjunctivitis in Chennai did not seem accurate when checked online. The hospital's name itself is a copy of the famous Aravind Eye Hospital.
