A fire-place in Pre-Islamic Sasanid era, the Jame' Mosque of Ardestan is one of the oldest -yet remaining- mosques in the center of Iran. The mosque is very beautiful with simple brick architecture. Jame' mosque is located in the old center of the town.

There used to be a Zoroastrian fire temple in the place of this mosque. The mosque is so impressive in its size. Its minaret is so huge. Its courtyard is wide and comfortable. There are numerous small praying rooms. I loved this mosque. I recommend everyone to visit this place.
