Staff and the owner are excellent and accommodating, paying attention to every detail. Apparently, guests are well attended to. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The half board meals, especially 5-course dinner, are delicious and of great value. Facilities really new. Would absolutely recommend to anyone & Would definitely return!

Staff excellent! Careful, helpful, efficient. Excellent room (even more.., seen this region's prices): large, luminous, perfectly clean, featuring new and functional furniture; magnificent bathroom in shining slate stone and huge brand-new shower . Excellent food - both dinner & breakfast. The perfect choice in Engadine! FR Zero défaut . Très sympathique !

Location location location in this quiet village of Ardez, along with great beautiful modern accommodations and even more important the host bends over backwards to make sure everything is perfect for his guests. Easy access to train here, easy access to hiking trails, and easy access to great dining here at the Hotel Alvertern. The breakfast buffet covered a massive variety of choices. The special seasonal dinner menu included local wild venison.Superb. Plus the Hotel is close to other great dining in the area. English is not common in this area of Switzerland, but we had no problem communicating. We spent 5 days here this time and will be back to this area of Switzerland soon and specifically this accommodation.
