Good use of audio visual media technology to show the life of Vargas through specially converted and designed rooms in the house where he was born. Tours start promptly at 10:00, 10:30, 14:00 and 14:30 at a cost of just 10 soles per person. Be aware that all content is in Spanish only, so probably a waste of time if yours isn’t at least decent!
Fantastic museum..its like taking a trip through Vargas Llosa’s life with him. Excellent. I din’t know why it is not in the guide books. Wish they sold his books in English and also wish the videos were in English because I missed some of the details...but it is a truely wonderful place to visit.
